About us

Who We Are

Kuska Wiñasun is a non-profit organization established in Huancayo, Peru on the 28th of March 2012.
Kuska Wiñasun means ‘growing together’ in Quechua, the native language of Peru and the Inca Empire. It was chosen for the name of our organization to demonstrate the intent that Kuska Wiñasun wishes to grow together with the children who receive help and support.
Kuska Wiñasun has every intention to become an organization that can be trusted and earn a reputation of operating with integrity, transparency and gives a commitment to deliver on initiated projects.

Mission

What we do
The primary mission of Kuska Wiñasun is to develop and deploy measurable and sustainable projects for the benefit of under privileged, homeless children in the region of Junín in Central Peru. Many of the children there are orphans or have been abandoned by their parents or families. These children have little or no resources or a suitable environment for education and individual development.
Kuska Wiñasun aims to assist these children by supporting educational initiatives, instilling social values, principles and skills that allow them to grow into responsible adults with the ability to contribute within their society for their future.
With people on the ground in Junín, Kuska Wiñasun is able to direct and deliver effective and immediate results from donations no matter how large or small.

Vision

Our plan, our goals
Our vision is to become a recognized and reputed non-profit organization known for complete transparency of financial contributions and received donations with an ongoing dedication to instill trust in the operation and validity of the charity.

With this foundation of integrity and trust, Kuska Wiñasun will evolve to support and assist the abandoned, poor and homeless children of Peru by planning and initiating projects that will provide opportunities for the growth as individuals as well as investment in their social development and education.

Providing long term and sustained support to the children will provide the foundation to increase their practical skills, improve their education thus providing them with what they need to take care of their own future as adults.

Along term goal is to to construct and operate orphanages to house and sustain a minimum of 20 abandoned children each.
